Surrealism, Magritte & Chicago

In late September, I visited Chicago and the Art Institute. The current exhibit was Magritte. Coincidentally, we were in the midst of a surrealism unit in 8th grade. Photography was prohibited inside the Magritte exhibit, but I was able to take some other photos to represent the time we were there the best way I know how. The students worked on surrealist sketchbooks along with their own versions of The Treachery of Images.
