ATC's

What are ATC's?
Oh! Artist Trading Cards!
What are Artist Trading Cards?
They are mini works of art that must be traded, similar to Yu-Gi-O cards or Magic Cards, Baseball Cards, that kind of thing.
ATC's are traded WORLDWIDE! It's a new underground art movement that has only been around about 15 years or so. And yes, we wanted a piece of it!

Current art students in all grades are working on these masterpieces to get them ready to send to other schools in the country.

There are international rules behind making and trading ATC's:
1. They must be traded, not selling allowed.
2. They must be 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 so they can fit into baseball card sleeves.
3. You must sign your name & date on the back.
4. You can use any art media, as long as it is relatively flat.

We used: watercolor, crayon, maker, colored pencil, fabric, ribbon, stickers, magazine & newspaper cut outs, oil pastels, tempera paint, acrylic paint, glitter paint pens, tissue paper, colored paper, card stock, cardboard and other supplies I can't think of right now.

I will be doing this fun project will every student in the school this year, so stay blogged for more creativity!
